My name is Kathy Kee and I am a Reading Intervention / Dyslexia teacher. I am located on the Aikin campus in room 604. This will be my 34th year to teach. All of those years have been here at Aikin. I began teaching with 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grade for my first three years. I then taught 1^st grade for fourteen years. During that time, I taught four years of Reading Recovery. I taught  in 2^nd grade for twelve years.  I am married (Brian – 34 years) and have two children.Both of my children are Paris graduates with honors.  My daughter ( Riley ) is 30 years old and graduated  from Texas A&M University in  Commerce. She is married and has two girls (my grandbabies). My oldest grand daughter is Kollins (4)  and my youngest is Kanton (1). They are the love of my life! My son (Dalton) is 25 years old and lives in Norway. I graduated from Paris High School in 1985. I attended Paris Junior College(class of "87) and Texas A&M University in College Station, Tx. (class of “90). Gig ‘Em  Aggies !!! I enjoy spending time with my family, camping,  shopping, and traveling. My dogs  name’s  are Poppy (Pomeranian / Shih tzu) and Daisy(Mastiff) . My cats are Fred and Barney . 

I love teaching! I’m excited to be starting my 5th  year as a reading intervention / Dyslexia  teacher. I retired in 2022 and rehired as a part time employee for PISD. I will be in my 3^rd year as a part-time teacher. I can’t wait to be working with my students again (last years groups and some new ones) ^{! I hope everyone has a wonderful 24-25 school year!}
