Howdy! My name is Mariana Rushing and I’m so excited to be your child’s fourth grade math teacher. This year will be my seventh year teaching and my first at Aikin. I’m so thrilled to learn and grow with your child. I know we will have a wonderful year full of learning, laughter, and growth while creating lots of memories. I have taught for the past six years at Lindale Independent School District. I was blessed to complete my student teaching for the district and was hired on to teach first grade. For four years I taught first grade and for my last two years there I taught third grade math and science. I’m excited to be part of Paris ISD and the Aikin family.
