Paris Independent School District is beginning the screening process for the 2019-2020 Gifted Education Program for students who will enter grades 3, 4, or 5 next school year. This program addresses giftedness in the areas of intellectual ability and creative ability. Students who qualify participate in the program one-half day each week.
If you wish to nominate your child for screening, contact the principal's office to obtain a form. Nomination forms must be completed and returned by noon on Friday, March 15, 2019. This is the first step of the screening process and does not guarantee enrollment in the program. It is not necessary to nominate grade 3 or grade 4 students who are currently enrolled in SOCRATES.
