Engage-Meet and welcome children at the door

Explore-Review previous day’s learning and/or last week’s lessons/tell me something good

Communicate - Lang. Arts-Recognizing, printing and learning the sound of the letter Letter ‘Tt’, ‘Rain, Rain Go Awayl’, compound words, distinguishing between a word and a sentence, identifying letters/sounds (Ll, Oo, Gg, Hh, Tt), blending sounds to make words  (such as log, go, hog, tot, hot, got, lot), recognizing sight words...I, can, we, the, like, a, play, see, look, red, yellow, blue, green, and orange

Math- Counting to 30, calendar routines, identify shapes, recognize numbers 0-10, matching numbers and sets

Science – The five senses

Social Studies – Learning the name of our school, town, and state, learning the Pledges to the flags, and learning birthdates

Empower-Work independently, with partners, and in small groups

Launch-Meet before dismissing, gather on the rug and review what we’ve learned today. Share something good that has happened throughout the day. End the day on a postitve note.
