Welcome! My name is Lindsey Jones. This is my 15^th year with PISD. As a counselor, I do small group and guidance counseling. All information discussed in our counseling sessions is confidential, unless your child plans on hurting themself, hurting someone else, or someone is hurting them. 

School counseling is an important part of education. I believe that every student should be treated equally and they should be given an equal opportunity to be successful in a learning environment that is caring and respectful. I strive to help students be successful academically, emotionally, socially, and behaviorally by providing a safe and nurturing environment. The activities and services provided through the school counseling program will help students grow and understand their self-worth, and develop positive attitudes and self-images.

I received both my Bachelor's of Science-Interdisciplinary Studies and Master's of Education-Counseling, from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
